Global Church was an installation exhibited in the Museum of Architecture in Wroclaw (2004), Slot Art Festival in Lubiaz (2004) and Stary Browar – a shopping centre in Poznan (2005). This collective project of a group of students from the Architecture Faculty and the Fine Art Academy in Wroclaw was a manifestation of presence of all things that are quiet and almost imperceptible in very specific commercial places.
With “Global Church” we wanted to create a sacred space inspired by the words of Mario Botta: “A place where we can find peace and silence, the values that are so missing for contemporary man. It exceeds its religious meaning and becomes the symbol of which is human and deep in man for both believer and non-believer.”
